The Steet Ponte Auto Group is proud to announce our 13th Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive, happening now across all of our dealership locations — Steet Ponte Chevy in Herkimer, United Auto Sales of Utica, Steet Ponte Volkswagen, Steet Ponte Ford Lincoln, Steet Ponte Mazda, Steet Toyota of Yorkville, and Steet Ponte Nissan!

This year, we’re honored to partner with Feed Our Vets of Central New York, a wonderful nonprofit food pantry dedicated to providing food assistance to Veterans and their families in need. Their mission to support those who have served our country is one that deeply resonates with our entire team, and we’re excited to help make a difference this holiday season and beyond.

Each of our showrooms has a vehicle set up and ready to be filled with nonperishable food donations! The organization has shared a few of their most needed items, including:

• Hearty soups
• Canned meats
• Pasta and sauce
• Bisquick and syrup
• Nonperishable fruits and vegetables

Your donations will go directly to helping local Veterans and their families — not only during the Thanksgiving season, but well after the holidays end.

The Steet Ponte Auto Group is thrilled to share the incredible success of our 8th Annual Coats for Kids Coat Drive — and this year was truly one for the record books!

Thanks to the amazing generosity of our customers, employees, and community members, we collected an astounding 1,425 items of winter outerwear! That includes:

• 🧥 444 winter coats
• 🧤 819 hats and gloves
• 🧣 12 scarves
• ❄️ 7 snow suits
• 👢 2 pairs of boots

When we first started this initiative eight years ago, our entire group collected around 250 total items between all eight stores. To see that number multiply by seven is nothing short of incredible!

This year, we donated to: Herkimer, CVA and Frankfort Elementary schools, along with Utica, Rome, Mayfield and Gloversville Elementary Schools!

At Steet Ponte Chevy, we’re proud to support our local community — and that includes the next generation of athletes! Recently, we had the pleasure of sponsoring the CVA Thunder Pop Warner 10U football team, a talented group of young players who embody teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship.

The team even stopped by our dealership for a fun team photo, which captured the excitement and pride of these young athletes. We couldn’t be more thrilled to cheer them on as they made their way all the way to the Tri-Valley Championships — an incredible achievement for these hard-working kids!

Supporting local youth sports is about more than just the game. Programs like Pop Warner help children develop team building, camaraderie, and wellness, while learning valuable lessons about discipline, perseverance, and working together toward a common goal. Being able to give back to the community and contribute to these positive experiences for kids is something we’re especially proud of at Steet Ponte Chevy.

Steet Ponte Chevy is proud to announce the return of our 8th Annual Coats for Kids Coat Drive! As the colder months approach, we are once again collecting NEW winter outerwear in any children’s size to help keep local kids warm this winter.

We invite our community to join us in this mission by donating coats, snow pants, boots, hats, mittens, gloves, and scarves. Donations can be dropped off at Steet Ponte Chevy at 3036 State Route 28 in Herkimer—just look for the specially designated vehicle or drop-off area in our showroom.
