I was there for an inspection but needed to have repairs to pass inspection.They had the part available and were able to repair it same day. I had my 4 year old grandson with me and we were already there for 1 hour .They said it would be about 2 hours to repair I was hesitant waiting there that long with him.They made arrangements to take us home while repairs were done and picked us up in my vehicle when it was finished .Huge thank you to them .

Dealership was a bit of a drive for me. By the time I got over there after work, it was already after 6pm. Sales team stayed after hours on multiple occasions to make sure I was taken care of. Brady took time to make sure everything was all set before I took delivery, even when I was delayed getting there.

Extremely disappointed with the reliabilty of our Silverados and the service we have received. This vehicle was in for a repeat issue previously fixed by this dealership. We had to wait two weeks for an appointment the vehicle then sat in the shop for 3 days before being serviced. They were unable to identify the problem but charged us $260 to diagnose known issues with a failing exhaust system and a failing safety camera system. The vehicle is 3 years old. We have two 2022 Silverados and both have experienced significant failures.

My appointment was at 830, I arrived a few minutes before. I was helped right away and my car was done just a few minutes after 9 (oil change and tire rotation). The staff is always very friendly and my car is always taken care of.

Oil change and inspection. pretty basic but went well. Had a 1pm appt brought the car in right after 730 as a just in case you have a chance to get this in early was called 2 hours later saying the car was all set. The service Tech's made this an easy experience!

Before addressing the diagnostic fee, I want to note that I specifically requested either a phone call or a sit-down arrangement with the owner of the dealership to resolve the issues surrounding my vehicle service. I also wished to discuss the mistreatment and disrespectful conduct directed toward my wife, Rebecca Fox, during her interaction with your staff on September 12, 2025. Unfortunately, no response was provided to my request. Furthermore, under New York General Business Law § 396, no auto repair shop may charge for diagnostic or repair work without the customer’s prior authorization. In this case, no written estimate or authorization was provided for a $150 diagnostic fee. The dealership refused to release my vehicle and effectively held my keys until I paid, which constitutes payment under duress.

A salesman named Robert was very nice. Took time to explain and answer my questions of things I was unfamiliar with.

The staff were very helpful, patient and friendly. Brady, our salesperson, took his time showing us the features of the different models and going for test rides. We didn’t feel pressured and were able to take our time in the decision making. We are very happy with the whole process.

The place was very busy, but, our veichle was done in a timely manner.

Addressed my concerns

The man in the service dept. office was very nice. I told him I would just take a quick look around the lot while I was waiting. They were done with my car a lot faster than I expected. I was not super happy with the vehicle I have which I leased last year. Looking on the lot, I found a Trailblazer that had all the features that I wanted and missed in the vehicle I now have. I asked to talk to the salesman who walked past me and said hi when I came in. He let me take the car for a test drive and I liked it so I decided to trade in my leased vehicle and buy this one. It was a good decision at the right time and Mr. Brown was very helpful in getting everything in order for me to buy the car. You have very nice people working there.

My experience exceeded by expectations. I drive out to the dealership from just east of Albany to look at a Silverado. Tommie took care of all my questions and was able to make a great deal. Not only was he and to hook me up with an awesome truck, he and the team were able to complete all the paperwork, auto loan, and prep the truck for delivery the same day! I can't thank him and his team enough!

I was told my car would be fixed under bumper to bumper warranty when they called me to clean carbon and I needed an oil change (i told them go ahead with the oil change) this was at 11:16 am they wrote on the paper that they had my approval at 11 am FALSE. i call my mom right as i get off the phone and she calls you guys not even 2 minutes later and on the phone they started “they already started working on the car” when they called me right before stating they go to lunch at 12 they won’t begin working on the car until after lunch so my car wouldn’t be ready until 3:30. Scammed 450 dollars out of me. My hood doesn’t even look like it was opened. They supposedly gave me and charged me for an oil change but my car doesn’t have an oil change sticker and still says it has only 9% oil life. Very disappointing.

I brought my truck in for oil change and tires rotated and I needed a couple issues checked. The issues were thoroughly checked out and parts were ordered. The service department is very informative about what has been done to my vehicle and I never feel like I’m being given a false story just to appease me. I know cars, I have restored a few classic cars and used to work at a dealership when I was younger and I believe the techs are very good at what they do at Steet Chevrolet

The fuel pump on my car went,and I was without my car for a week. No loaner car was available, so I had to cancel all my appointments for the week. As soon as they had all the parts, the car was ready.

The bill or the receipt is very confusing. No clear information or good order. Look like there are extra charges. Had a discount with a coupon but I think the numbers were brought up so really I didn’t get anything off. I don’t want to come back.

This place is a disaster. First, when I bought the vehicle I spent $1500.00 on something called a "trucare" warranty. I have the pamphlet, what it is supposed to do is cover wearable parts, such as wiper blades, brake pads/rotors etc. So, when I arrived at 1:45 for my 2:00 oil change/tire rotation I showed the service advisor the pamphlet and told her I needed new wiper blades and its covered. She had no idea what trucare was. So, I'm in the waiting room she comes out and tells me it's not covered and I showed her the pamphlet again and said yes, it is. She surely sensed I was growing agitated because I was. Later she said the dealership would cover the cost of the blades. Whatever. Now for the fun part, at 3:30, after my 90-minute oil change I talked to some fella about this warranty I bought, and he tells me they actually sold me a Toyota service plan. I have no idea what's going on or what kind of shady sh*t is going on there, but I've about had enough. This is the 3rd consecutive truck I've bought there and to go thru this is unacceptable. The warranty issue alone is enough but 90 minutes for the oil change is just a terrible way to treat a customer who goes back to 2012.

On Saturday April 18, 2026 I brought my 2021 Chevy Silverado in for an inspection. This is the 1st inspection since I purchased this truck at this dealership, the Steet-Ponte Chevy dealership in Herkimer, NY. I purchased this 2021 Chevrolet Silverado in March 2025 trading in a 2016 plow truck for something newer and hopefully more reliable. I have put less than 5000 miles on this truck. I don’t even go grocery shopping as I have groceries delivered. I don’t travel. I mostly drive to work and back. That being said, I was told that the truck needed new wipers to pass inspection. I didn’t question it at the time. I didn’t like the real thin wipers that were on it as it was, but, they were not streaking, they were not coming apart. Then I was told this truck, would pass inspection for now, but was in need of new brakes. I said I bought this truck here last year and have less than 5000 miles on it, and it needs new brakes already? According to the TRIP milage that I haven’t reset since I purchased the truck, it’s at 4839 miles. I understand it’s a used vehicle, but I would have expected it to have decent brakes on it to last a little while. I’m no mechanic but I do know new brakes should last a minimum of 20,000 miles. I would have at least expected 10,000 miles out of a used vehicle from a reputable dealership. I was quoted $718.00 for the front brakes and $626.00 for rear brakes. Is this really acceptable business practices for a dealership? Fuccillo’s would have never done me wrong like that. I’ve worked with them for 16 years. I was a dedicated customer because they always treated me right. Unfortunately he passed away, the business was sold off, and I was forced to another dealership. I came here to Steet-Ponte in Herkimer and I hoped not to be done dirty like this though. I am very disappointed at being hustled for $1300 in brakes and labor, and I don't even know if that counts the rotors. I assume that would be added at the time they do the brakes. But after only 4800 miles, Just doesn't feel right to me.
