Steet Ponte Auto Group Tees Off for Another Great Annual Golf Tournament

Steet Ponte Chevy’s 9th Annual Coats for Kids Drive Winter is just around the corner, and Steet Ponte Chevy is once again teaming up with our community to help local children stay warm! We are proud to host our 9th Annual Coats for Kids Drive, an annual tradition that has become one of the most meaningful events of the year for the Steet Ponte Auto Group. Every year, our employees, customers and community members come together to make a difference, and we are so grateful for the generosity that continues to make this drive possible. This year, Steet Ponte Chevy will be donating winter clothing to Herkimer Elementary School, Central Valley Academy (CVA) Elementary School and Frankfort Elementary School, helping provide warm winter essentials to children in our local communities. Last year was our biggest year yet, with the Steet Ponte Auto Group collecting a record-breaking 1,400+ items of winter outerwear. Donations included coats, hats, snow pants, gloves, mittens, scarves and snow boots. What Can You Donate? We are accepting NEW winter clothing in all kids’ sizes, including: Winter coats and jackets Snow pants Hats Gloves and mittens Scarves Snow boots Other new winter outerwear Donations are being accepted at Steet Ponte Chevy during normal business hours from October 1 through November 2. A warm coat can mean so much to a child during a cold New York winter. By donating, you can help ensure local children have the winter clothing they need to stay warm at school, at home and while enjoying everything winter has to offer. We have a lot to celebrate at Steet Ponte Chevy! Several members of our team were recently recognized with the prestigious General Motors Mark of Excellence Award, and we couldn’t be more proud of their accomplishments! The GM Mark of Excellence is a recognition program that honors Chevrolet, Buick and GMC dealership employees who demonstrate outstanding performance, professionalism and commitment to their customers and the GM brand. Earning this distinction is a significant achievement and reflects the dedication these team members bring to their work every day. Recognizing Excellence in Sales In our Sales Department, Steve Ponte Jr. had the honor of presenting Mark of Excellence awards to: Bob Rodgers Brady Lawrence Dan Brown Also earning this prestigious recognition was Matt Kane, who unfortunately wasn't able to be in the photo on the day of the presentation—but we certainly didn't want to leave him out of the celebration! These awards recognize the commitment our Sales team members have to their customers and their continued pursuit of excellence. Recognizing Excellence in Service Our Service Department also had reason to celebrate! Steve Ponte Sr. presented Mark of Excellence awards to our Service Advisors: Renee Gonzalez Josh Emerson Our Service Advisors play an incredibly important role in the customer experience, helping keep communication clear and making sure our customers receive the care and attention they deserve. What’s better than a day at the ballpark? A day at the ballpark with your Steet Ponte family! ⚾ This year, the Steet Ponte Auto Group took our team spirit on the road for our first-ever Steet Ponte Auto Group bus trip to see the New York Yankees take on the Boston Red Sox! The idea for the trip came from Kathy Williams of Steet Ponte Ford Lincoln, who did an incredible job organizing and bringing this first-time event to life. We had team members representing almost all of our Steet Ponte stores join us for a day filled with baseball, great food, drinks and plenty of laughs. And Mother Nature certainly cooperated! We were treated to beautiful weather as we enjoyed the game from our group seating area, complete with lunch and drinks. It was the perfect setting to relax, enjoy some baseball and spend time with coworkers outside of the dealerships. While the Yankees and Red Sox provided plenty of action on the field, the best part of the day was simply getting everyone together. With team members from across the Auto Group along for the trip, it was a great opportunity to connect with coworkers we may not get to see every day and enjoy a memorable experience together. A huge thank-you to Kathy Williams for coming up with the idea and putting so much time and effort into organizing such a fantastic day. She set the bar pretty high for our first Steet Ponte bus trip! We’re already looking forward to doing it again—and who knows where the next Steet Ponte adventure will take us!
