Community has always been at the heart of everything we do at Steet Ponte Chevy, and we're proud to support organizations that make a lasting difference in the lives of local families. On Thursday, July 30, our team had the pleasure of sponsoring and attending the Connected Community Schools Annual Herkimer Carnival, held at the ARC Park for students and families from the Herkimer, Central Valley Academy (CVA), and Dolgeville school districts. The annual carnival brought together hundreds of families for an evening filled with games, activities, food, and fun, giving students the opportunity to celebrate summer while strengthening the connections between schools, families, and the community. Our team members, Sales BDR Dylan Tucciarone and Sales Consultant Josh Perez, represented Steet Ponte Chevy throughout the event, welcoming families to our booth and helping make the evening even more exciting. One of the biggest attractions at our station was our Hot Wheels race track, where kids raced three cars head-to-head to see who would cross the finish line first. It quickly became a crowd favorite! In addition to the races, we displayed a beautiful new 2026 Chevy Silverado, gave away plenty of fun prizes throughout the day, and it was wonderful to see so many smiling faces enjoying the activities. Events like these give us the opportunity to meet members of our community outside of the dealership and create memories with local families. Why Connected Community Schools Matter The Connected Community Schools initiative plays a vital role in supporting students and families throughout our region. By partnering schools with local organizations, businesses, and community resources, Connected Community Schools help remove barriers to learning and ensure students have access to the academic, social, emotional, and family support they need to succeed.
