We had our 10th Annual Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest in the Steet Ponte Auto Group during our holiday lunch parties!! This year, we had winners from each store. Here at Steet Ponte Chevy we had a delicious meal catered by PK’s Pub in Herkimer, NY. This year, our very own Kevin Gilbo from our Parts Department won for the Most Festive category in the contest! We had a great time and are looking forward to another great year!
It’s our TENTH Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive going on now at all of the stores in the Steet Ponte Auto Group! Each year, we donate our food donations to different local organizations and food pantries. This year, our food donations are going to the Catholic Charities of Herkimer County.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, November 1st and 2nd our 5th Annual Coats for Kids Coat Drive came to an end after a month long drive! We donated all of our winter coats, snow pants, hats, gloves and scarf donations to the Utica, Rome, Herkimer, CVA, Mayfield and Gloversville Elementary School Districts! We were blown away this year, as this is a bit of a milestone year for this Coat Drive. Together with all 8 of our locations, we donated 675 articles of winter clothing including coats, along with snow pants, hats, gloves and scarves.
Happy Halloween from all of us at the Steet Ponte Auto Group! This year was our 9th Annual Halloween Costume Contest!! We had a blast dressing up on Monday getting into the Halloween spirit in Yorkville, Herkimer, and Johnstown! Each year, we make it a contest for those who have dressed up, giving away 8 cash prizes for different categories. Joe Steet Sr. and Steve Ponte Sr. pick the costumes and their favorite costumes!
It’s almost that time of the year!! Our Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest is being held on the day of our Holiday Lunch Party on Wednesday, December 22nd. We’re so excited to see what kind of turnout we have this year!
We wanted to thank every one of you who donated to our Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive!! We rotate donations to different local food pantries each year, and this year our donations went to the Frankfort/Ilion Food Pantry located in local Frankfort, NY! We were thrilled to see a stuffed SUV of donations, and we were able to give many local families a great Thanksgiving this year.
